Women Empowerment Through Entrepreneurship Development

The volume in general speaks of humanistic and constitutional need in terms of empowerment of women detailing the various government orders and institutional building and measures initiated by various departments in empowering womenfolk. One could see the measures comprising economic, social, educational more importantly entrepreneurial in providing opportunities especially to the women below poverty line.

Dr. E.D. Setty trained as a social scientist has extensive and diverse national and interantional experience in the field of development for over half, a century. He holds two Master Degrees, MCD, M.A. & Ph.D. Served as a direct hire international facutly as the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand for a period of nine years. Mr. P. Krishna Moorthy is presently working as an Associate Professor and Head, Dept. of M.B.A., Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Science, Hyderabad. He holds a Master Degree in English Literature from S.V. University, Tirupathi; B.Ed. from Annamalai University and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Maharishi Institute of Management, Bangalore.
