I am not one to write reviews...Mostly I read them before buying but I am compelled to share my review on Rujuta's book.
Kareena's Size zero achievment made me curious to buy this book.
Rujuta writes a lot of things about a lot of things - How women fail to prioritse themselves, they are great mothers, sisters, whatever and forget themselves - Well thats true of every country not just India...Everyone would want whats best for their family ...so whats new about it and what is this unique discovery doing in a weight loss book.
Rujuta thinks weight loss should not be measured, calories should not be counted...Thats great for some people but what about people who get motivated by setting themselves a goal and inching slowly to that goal...
Now here is the best part..Rujuta expects us to all go out of town to buy our veggies and fruit fresh out of a farm and if thats too difficult, then voila...get some people together ...buy some land and start farming....What an Idea...
Maybe Rujuta meets people who go around buying plots of land to ensure they get the freshest of vegetables but for people like us who are working hard to make a living, have a healthy family and stay fit....I am not sure how I could fit buying a plot of land into my plans and goals.
Some Hindi, some Delhi Slang, some Mumbaiya language and some Marathi put together makes for some cool and hip dialogue by the author.....
What I would have appreciated much more is some common sense and tips to stay healthy...Save your money and go buy a better book...Kalli Purie is better anyday !!!

Dont lose your mind, lose your weight is a tough act to follow up, but Rujuta has come trumps once again with a book so rich in information it should be part of standard college curriculum, so easy in language and so impactful in the message it conveys. Was a bit apprehensive with its 'women only' inclination, proved baseless though. Also, thanks Flipkart for delivering the copy on 31st Dec itself. There can't be a better way to start this year.
