Xcom: Enemy Within (Addon)  (for PC)

XCOM is one of those games that can be played infinitely on a loop. Turn based games in themselves have always had a fascinating gameplay - in that you can always play them and still have the same fun you had while playing it for the first time (which is so rare in games), and yet at the same time keep learning, so as to optimise performance and output. XCOM takes it a step further with bringing a set of economics into the story, giving a more diverse nature to the game.

The new units and opposing faction (Exalt) are well executed, though I think the dread of the standalone game is reduced a little when your mechs are punching aliens for fun.

Still, it is a very worthwhile addition to XCOM.

But makes the ending easy. The mid game is tougher now.
An excellent addon for a great game. The tension is still there. Lots of new strategy options.
