Do you know that the CPU that A1000 uses the same CPU that was used in A110...
If there is no improvement in performance, why Micromax do it?
The ANTUTU Benchmark test says it all..
A1000 scores around 6500 & A116 scores 13130...
GPU is also better in Micromax A116(Good news for gamers)

A more than decent Phone to have!
Pros:
This is a great value for money phone!
Looks impressive.
Hardware looks pretty good after a couple of days use.
Screen looks pretty neat with huge viewing angle.
SAR values as per Indian Standards (1.6 watt/kg averaged over 1 gram tissue)
A very decent battery life.
Cons:
The only thing I did not like is the speaker of this phone. Since its behind and packed the quality is low with vibrations. But this should not be an issue as we generally use the earplugs for music.

yup i m fully satisfied with it.....
when i unboxed it.....looks preety owsome...and performence is also even better,i will give it 9/10....even though mmx a116 hav only adv. to his processor but don't compare it with him coz u can't face any prob. even while running big app./games 1ghz dual-core is enough n i can't see any app. at that time in market which can cross it.....it's damm too good :)

Looks stunning !
The phone is really stunning in terms of looks. It doesn't look cheap.
The performance is good, but not great.
It really takes 1080p videos and videos look awesome on the 5 inch screen.
I liked it. It took some time for flipkart to deliver this product. But it did reach me a day before that flipkart had told me.

Good phone but...
I bought the Xolo A 1000 for 13999 a week back. The phone works pretty good, though I have not used all the festures. Taking pictures is not very intuitive, keeps taking screenshots. Also, there is only a quick start guide with very less information. Such a complex device demands a both a quick start guide and a full fledged manual (so people get to KNOW how things really work). VERY GOOD MOBILE
An Excellent mobile. Worth for the money. Very good configuration. Only one disadvantage is camera. Camera could be better. Still a good phone to have.!!!!! Very good touch sensitivity.

I bought a XOLO A1000 (Black) yesterday from a retail shop in Kolkata at Rs.13,200/-. I have been using it for about 36 hours now. Let me tell you, at the outset, that I am not a gameaholic. But,I have checked that both Temple 1 & Temple 2 run smoothly on XOLO A1000. True that the benchmarks are poor when you compare it to other high-end dual core phones. But for normal daily usage including net surfing, video (both 720p & 1080p), music etc., it can be compared with any other dual core phone...
