Tandoori Chicken and Scotch

There is much that one can find faulty with this low budget Punjabi movie - BUT I will talk only of good things. If a movie has entertained me, I tend to talk good of it. (Shouldn't we all)
The biggest strength of this movie is its story, setting and connect. It is NOT about warring families nor is it about NRIs falling in love with Punjab in a condescending way.
This movie is "3 idiots" served with Tandoori Chicken and Scotch, sans the "moral of the story" digestive pills, which may cause acidity but the spiciness will keep one wanting more. The one liners are hilariou...

This movie is "3 idiots" served with Tandoori Chicken and Scotch, sans the "moral of the story" digestive pills, which may cause acidity but the spiciness will keep one wanting more. The one liners are hilarious and the accents of the protagonists and their jokes are endearing. The director is obviously no Steven Speilberg but has a lot of David Dhawan in him.
Two hours of laughter and fun is paisa-vasool for mere-mortals like "yours truly", I will leave the intellectually-stimulating-are-the-only-good-movies snobishness to critics who watch movies, wearing Khaadi, while biting on imported cheese and sipping overly-taxed imported Wine, which they can not tell the good from the bad anyhow, yet extend the same pseudo-connoisseurship while "Savouring" movies.
Bottomline - enjoy the movie for its Punjabi flavour and its crisp sense of humour.

Good Movie

The movie is very relatable to college going crowd but loses your attention in the second half...

Still pretty entertaining and worth a watch. The print quality of the VCD is good and is worth buying.
