(View complete review)

An Emotional Truth

I was one of the fortunate first to get the hands on this beautifully laid down story in a form of this book. I was given the responsibility to translate this book in English before it being published.

I love the chapters laying the facts how Shivendra and the team were greeted in Pakistan.…

A Beautiful Memoir

(View complete review)

I love the chapters laying the facts how Shivendra and the team were greeted in Pakistan. Away from the politics between the two countries how the foregone relationships were being tasted. How a "RAZA Bhai" took all pains to be the perfect host and how they were treated by Kahwa and floored by gifts. The book "Yeh Jo Hai Pakistan" is far from cricket and relays the love and affection of the com

Emotions And Cricket !!

I have been following cricket from last 20 years and needless to say when it comes to Indo Pak cricket excitement automatically sets in ."Yeh Jo Hai Pakistan" gives a very vivid account of Indo Pak series beautifully coupled with behind the scenes events as well.It has been written in a simple and articulate manner and really has interesting facets of Indo Pak cricket ties which till now i considered staunch rivals .

The fact that really distinguishes the book that author apart from his experiences in Pakistan he has been able to incorporate the emotions of cricketing ties between the rival

Ye Jo Hai Shivendra !!!!

It is audacious to think Afridi and Sehwag opening vs England batting from different ends and in ONE Team. Shivendra instigates the thoughts and forces you to think Pakistan with such positivity . A beautifully articulated memoir and a must read for all. I am completely amazed with what a friend asked me to read is and am buying one for the young writer as well.

I would be looking at many more from Shivendra and believe his sport expertise can bring in similar stuff in future. All the best Sir - would be looking for more

Wait is over....

Me and Shivendra have been childhood friends...I think from class 3rd...When I didn't knew what I will be doing in my carrer, Shivendra always knew what he wanted to do...when we were in class 7th or 8th, I remember when he showed me his first article he wrote I think on tomato (tamatar)..I never thought reading about tomato would be so interesting...
We have been in regular touch since then and whenever we get a chance to meet, Shivendra use to tell me about his experiences in Pakistan...I always thought he should write a book on these experiences and the wait is over now...

Outstanding Work...

As s debutant Shivendra has done remarkable work. This shows the people of pakistan are diffrent than politics of pakistan and proves that there are 3 differnt categories in our neighbour country-Common men, Politicians & Army. I was emotional also while reading about RAZA BHAI. Gud work, Keep it up!!!
