Young Tyree

I was born in Burkburnett, Texas. I lived there most of my life. While in my teens, I was around a lot of professional cowboys, and rode a few bulls myself. I was fortunate enough to be under the influence of men a few years my elder. I rode a lot of horses and worked around a bunch of cattle. I became a police officer in Burkburnett, and served the city for about five years. I owned and operated a cabinet shop in Burkburnett for fifteen years. I retired in January of 2006. Brenda, my lovely wife, was born and raised in Irvine, Kentucky. The beautiful mountains won my heart, along with a very special church in the mountains, where I teach Sunday school.
