Your Life.my Life: A Reflective Look At Abusive Relationships

Sherry Bamberger was born in 1954 in Olympia, Washington. Always the animal caretaker, even as a child, she found as a young adult that her care taking branched out to people as well. In and out of relationships into her mid forties, emotional and physical abuse became the anorma for her life. Surviving years of physical abuse and realizing the scars also result from the emotional abuse, she fought the effects of these relationships for years. At the age of fifty-two, Sherry decided to use her life experiences, some good and some bad, to try to help others. Knowing firsthand how devastating both emotional and physical abuse can be, and how horribly hard the struggle to recover can become, the decision to resurface her own fears and humiliation from years of abuse seemed the best decision of her life. This book is a result of that decision.
