3. Picture quality is very good. Same as watching DVD quality movies on laptop if your cable has proper reception.

Amazing Product, Just what I needed for office laptop.
Guess what, this device is plug and play if used with VLC media player and standard set top box. You can let the cd/dvd rest in the packet, and use VLC's 'Open Capture Device' to get a perfectly working tv on your laptop.

Can I connet it with set top box?
As you all know that set top box is mandate for all now. So can somebody tell me whether it can be connected with set top box to watch channels in laptop or not. The video clarity is bit lower than that displayed by TV. But thats expected in any TV tuner cards.
Audio is bit jarring.
Switching between channels is fast.
Software bundled is not perfect, but can live with.
The remote is a joke. You will end up using the computer's keyboard or mouse to change channels.
