Zero Percentile: Missed IIT Kissed Russia

I picked up the book with some skepticism thinking that this is a first book by an unknown author, so how good could it be? But I was surprised.

I only put it down once I finished it. It is fast paced (which is how I prefer the books I read), enticing (you do wonder what will happen next), and refreshing (because this was a style of writing different from what I have read till date).

Definitely worth a read...

Good book to read once. There are 3 chapters, I found that the style of writing suddenly changes from Chapter 1 to 2. In Chapter 1, it is more dialog based, suddenly chapter 2 onwards, the style becomes reporting style of writing where the author is just trying to report events that happened.
Overall good book to read once

I have read innumerous books being a literature student of D.U. n I have read all kinds like Classics, Plays,Poetry, Novels............by Indian as well as International Authors but this is a book which I have read to enjoy reading thoroughly after 'House of Mr.Biswas' by V.S.Naipaul. I have read it 4 times as every time I read it I can identify with the protagonist in one or the other way. Its wonderful reading it.

Ordered it with apprehension, but couldn't stop myself reading it and re-reading some parts. The why's of life are described with such simplicity which I think are seldom done before. I was able to connect myself with it and think everybody else also can.

10/10 for first time author.

It was an amazing read and I could feel mild similarity of Shantaram in the novel. Anybody can be a zero percentile by quirk of fate, but Shantaram is louder and stronger version and is not a common man. Still the characters in both the books are similar with strong determination, learning from every moment of life and telling us about the world yet not seen. waiting for sequel of both the books.
