I bought this from a Physical store in Bangalore back in April 2010. I was building a new PC based on core i3 530.
today is Nov 15th 2013. Half way thru playing COD black Ops 2 with the highest settings. fascinating graphics and decent fps.. 3 yrs + and its still blazing. I am surprised actually. In the past 2 yr max was the period to which you could hang on to your graphic card without upgrading. What more to say? More than 3 yrs and this card still allows me to play all the games in the market.
Now I am itching for an upgrade and looking at the Ge Force 650 series. But am wondering, what for? My GTX 240 shows no sign of fatigue. Fascinating card. You are getting it now at half the price I bought it.If Budget is small, buy it. I am playing COD BO-2, MaxPayne-3, Crysis 3 at this point with high settings. Win-7 home. So why do I really need another hifi card right now? Anyone knows?
First of all flipkart delivery was top notch,
Now,The GPU may be discontinued by Zotac but it is still supported by NVidia so you still get latest drivers.
People should buy based on their monitors resolution and not based on the game.
My resolution is 1366x768 and I play AC BH and DOTA2 on full settings.
Only if you use multiple monitors of HD resolution you may require better cards.
Also Don't by GDD3 version , GDD5 is many times faster.
I recommend this card fully.
If you have any doubts post on tomshardware.com
this card is a satisfactory card for entry level but might not able to handle 2013 games at low graphics also if handles then it will give 20 fps-25 fps by overclocking playable fps
i recommend not to buy it coz 3000rs for this card if your budjet is this only then go for radeon 4500hd its also a entry level gaming but will handle 2013 games at 30 fps max.it is faster by 5fps so its your choice or i recommend not to buy gpu dont play game just sit and study bcoz yiu are going to buy low and cheap cards
This is a good graphics card. Handled most games I played. Tested NFS HP 10 (30 fps), Skyrim (30 fps), FIFA 11 (60 fps), Ashes Cricket. All played fine. Price is also good. Don't know how well will it hold against future games but currently working fine.
I mainly bought it from elsewhere since it wasn't available here. Wanted the ddr5 version but the price difference (Rs 4000) was too mach. Finally settled for this.
Basically it is a smallish card (single slot), consumes less power and works fine with 300 PSU. So overall pretty satisfied.
its a good graphics card at dis price....i bought it about 7days ago n m satisfied wid it....n hell yeah some awesome packing n service by FLIPKART.....love u guys..
i played max payne3 at ultra graphics n it worked like butter....not only max payne 3,each n evry game works like delicious cookie :-)
I bought this when it was 750 Rs lower, at 3350/-. In spite of being a few generation old card, it's by no means less powerful. I am sure it gives very tough competition to some newer cards at higher price tag.
1. Great pricing
2. GDDR5 memory, great for gaming coz its fast.
3. Does not even require a dedicated PCI-e power connector.
4. Can run most of the games in high to ultra resolution. I tested Crysis in high settings and impressed with the performance. My earlier 9400GT scrambled to cope up with the Crytek engine.
1. Heating issues seems to be present, touches 55-60 degrees frequently under load, in spite of my 2 80mm exhausts and one 90CFM 120mm intake immediately by its side.
2. For newer games optimized for DX11, you need to go for newer cards.
I got this card just today and it is awesome playing games with this card. The games that i can play are
2)BATTLE FIELD3 -ULTRA SETTINGS-AA 2x
3)TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED-HIGH
All these games run with out a hitch giving approx. >30 fps.TDU can be played with 70+ fps.It was an AWESOME card at this price and can play all latest games.
MY SPECS ARE:
Core2Duo E7500@2.93 Ghz
4Gb ddr3 ram
And also 3dvision really works. This card comes with a RED/CYAN glasses which makes it a worth buying card at this range.
I would definitely recommend this card to mid-gamers.
I bought this a fortnight ago and I am certainly pleased with it. I own an MSI K9N-NeoV3 motherboard with AM2 socket (Athlon 64 X@ 3800+). PCIe 1x16 v1.0. The monitor is Dell ST2220L. Win 7 Pro SP1 and XP Pro SP3 dual-boot. 1GBx2 Corsair and 512MBx2 Transcend 800MHz paired RAM.
What mattered to me was that it didn't cause any bottlenecks playing HD videos. It also requires less power, so my 350W Antec Basic SMPS suffices. Moreover it is silent and the GPU fan can be regulated with an utility - setting with 'Auto' works fine for me. Previously I had an XFX HD5450 but it failed on my system on the points noted above and it cost almost double the price I bought this for (before the rise in $ rates).
The only hitch for me so far has been that I am not able to use a setting above 1280x1024 on PC setting with an HDMI cable - the display then extends beyond the desktop area. With DVI-D a setting of 1600x900 works well, which I am used to. However, higher settings upto 1920x1080p work fine with HD contents but then the fonts become too small for my liking for PC usage.
For me, it is just what the doctor ordered. No problems like the HD5450 and much improved than the 7300GT I owned before.
I would certainly recommend it for users like myself.
And yes. Re. Flipkart - I do wish other Indian online sellers would learn from them about service, packaging, shipping, etc.
Hi all ,
I have been using this card for one month now . Its performance is amazing . Gives decent frame rates in high / medium settings .
Playing Gta IV, Assassins Creed 2 , Nfs run , hot pursuit , Resident Evil 5 and so on ..
The Cuda also helps in reducing Video Conversion time .
If you are looking for a good graphics card without making a huge hole in your purse , this is the one you have to get :)
I've been using this product for a month now and am satisfied with the performance as compared to the price. This GPU was released in 09 and in good for games that came before 2010 . Mind you, the card is good for mild gaming at best but at this price, you get to play most of the games till date in mid-low setting which is not bad. If your budget is around 3-3.5K, this is a good buy. The service from Flipkart is just amazing and the price is comparable to the one you'll get quoted on the streets.( The notorious "Place" we delhites all go to for computer components)
