Some Clarifications

To Ansh:
Even if it says DDR5 memory, its GDDR5 - Verified with GPU-Z and it says the same in the Zotac Website. Probably flipcart guys forgot to mention it.
And for the number of cores, please don't compare Nvidia's Shader cores to ATI's Stream Processors. Just google search and you'll find that GTX 560 outperforms 6850, it literally mops the floor with 6850! GTX 560 is on par with 6870 actually. 6850 doesn't even fit the category. And also, Nvidia's got a lot of tie ups with game companies, so you'll know Nvidia's better than ATI (less problems).
Drivers quality: Nvidia > AMD

And a google search will tell you that GTX 560 > 6850

And for Rahul R:
No, its not that simple, 560 Ti has more cores, 386 so to speak. Its more powerful, actually GTX 560Ti was first released, and then GTX 560 was released as a weaker version. So GTX 560 Ti is always a better option.

But the best part about this card is that with 2Gb of graphic memory, you can load and install all sorts of custom texture packs for many games(they take > 1GB of graphic mem).

Great Graphics card!

Okay so i was looking to get a GPU in the 10k range.. and after a lot or research, went for this.. and i must say its worth it.

Pros :
1. Really good performance, plays all games maxed out with 60 FPS on average with maximum AA.
2. Matches the performance of a 6870 (and even better in some cases) while costs lessor.
3. Stays cool, with BF3 on ultra with 4xAA and 16xAF and the card never went above 70 degrees even on 100% load.. average temperature is around 65 degrees which is good.
4. Nvidia drivers are pretty refined, so extra performance increase with suitable drivers.. using the the 301.42 drivers and all games work perfectly, no shuttering or any other issues.
5. Works on a 430W PSU.
6. Warranty : the card comes with a basic 3 year warranty but if u registration with Zotac adds more 2 years warranty (must be registered within 14 days of purchase)
7. Cheaper than most of the 560s out there.

Cons :

1. While the card stays cool, it can get loud.. increasing the fans speed beyond 50% does make it clearly audible, while this is totally tolerable, it would have been good if it was a bit more quite.
2. The Power connectors are placed in the front, so its a bit difficult to get to, and somewhat spoils the cable management.
3. The packaging could have been better, while it does come with all the required accessories, it would have been good to see some Styrofoam for additional protection.

Overall the card is great, anyone who wants to get a graphics card in the 10k range, i highly recommend this.

Totally Worth the Money

To Ansh-
1)What you are saying is not even technically right. Nvidia processors are multicore processors so comparisons like that between stream processors is not correct.
2)Like someone has already mentioned that its not DDR5 its GDDR5 only.
3)Read any reviews you want 560 GTX is pitted against 6870 not 6850 and it performs neck to neck with 6870 so its in totally different league than 6850.
4)As far as 720p and 1080p argument is concerned some games are optimised for AMD and some for NVIDIA so you will get different results on different settings on different games so that argument holds no truth at all. If 6850 can run it at ULTRA then so can 560 GTX.

To everyone-
I am neither an AMD enthusiast or a NVIDIA enthusiast. I have used both of them and both of them are good but don't choose 6850 over gtx 560 because gtx 560 is simply better. Its equivalent to 6870. If you are into AMD then you can go for 6870 and as for NVIDIA this is the one. Read any reviews right from tomshardware to Anandtech and you will find what i said is true. PhysX is nothing but a gimmick as only 3-4 games have ever used it so that shouldn't be a decision making factor.

One more thing, if you are using a 560 GTX with reference clock i.e core clock 810 MHz and Memory clock 1002 MHz then you can easily overclock it to 900/1100 without altering the voltage. It performs very well with almost all the games. On full HD resolution with a decent processor and decent amount of RAM you can play at high settings and still get around 50 FPS. Anti-Aliasing will tax some FPS but not much and its still pretty smooth and enjoyable and this is the case with 6870 as well. Just remember to have a good PSU with all these modern GPUs. Atleast 500 watt from corsair, seasonic etc and not a local brand. If you want to overclock then i would suggest a PSu with tight voltage and atleast 550 watt.

560 gtx can beat the hell out of the hd 6850 easily..

to rahul and ansh.. sorry guys, both of u gave the wrong info.

gtx 560 can easily outperform 6850 as this 560 is made to compete with 6870.. the shader procys and stream procy is totally a diff thing to compete.. 560 wins over 6850 cos of it's rendering output units which is 56 for 560 and 48 for 6850

and which people have told u that non ti model of 560 cant be overclocked???
it can be easily overclocked
the ti model means a more number of shader procys and more number of rop units.

google it man before commenting and making someone confused who knows little about graphics card. be sure before writing something man

btw if anybody care for bettr performance and overclocking then definitely go for EVGA not this zotac one..

nvidia evga = amd sapphire

Nice Product! Bad service by Zotac!!!

Confirmed! its gddr5 and just received it. Well only in 3 days tough? Flipkart guys gets 1 star for it. :D And 1 Star for packing too and 4 stars for the card. Why 4 for the card and not 5? The card is little expensive, but still the cheaper than local stores in mumbai and other websites.

Editing this review after 1 Year's of use! This card is Useless, its not even a year after purchasing this card. The problem is horrific! First of all let me tell you I reside in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. After these many days of purchasing the card, the fan is making a lot of noise and out 10 start ups, the display comes only Once. I wrote an email to the service center, they said Saturday they are closed. The only service center is in Lamington Road, which is quite far. I went there today and they mentioned this card is no longer supported by Zotac, as its not available in the market and neither in their delhi ware house too. Also they said they can't replace it, since Zotac has stopped supporting this card. So they asked me to pay them 3000rs extra and they will give me new GTX 660 2gb instead with 5 years of Warranty... I am not liking it, as Zotac is ripping me off. The service center is not only for Zotac, but supphaire card too. Worst service center experience. I would like to inform you all, 5 Years of warranty is useless as they said to me this card is Not available even in their delhi warehouse. Its not Flipkart's fault, but Zotac's fault instead. I knew I should have gone for ASUS version instead of Zotac. Don't save the money as Zotac's are cheaper, go for Asus as their service is better!!! :(
