Butter smooth graphics, but didn't get the free download game :-(
Got this graphics card especially to play AC Unity. Earlier I was having GTX 560 Ti, which couldn't handle AC unity (10-15fps only I was getting). Decided to upgrade my graphics card and got this 970 even if the price is high. It is worth the price. AC unity is playing butter smooth with all graphics set to very high @ 1080p. I love playing the game. It looks beautiful. Nice to see many nvidia technologies present in this graphics card.

This is a beginning of maxwell series card with directx 12 support for 4k monitor and for 1080p monitor awesome with great fps for every game and power efficient with only 500 W minimum to run but the cost of this card is $329.99 in U.S which comes out to RS 20256 and to buy in india costing 29 k.Does shipping, handling ,custom taxes comes to 9 k on 20k card it which is almost 50% cost of original card for a seller .though the seller import goods in bulk.custom duty on electronics goods...

GTX970 review
This is an amazing card that runs quieter, cooler and require less power too. I had HD7870, HD7970 and R2 290 card. It is far better than all of them.
Last card was Asus R2 290 (with reference cooler) which is 300 Watt card and therefore require atleast 650 Watt of good supply. It was giving 75 to 85 FPS in Battle field 4, 16 to 17 FPS in Watch dog, 85 to 95 FPS in Far Cry 4....etc.. It runs very loud like a jet engine and runs at 85 to 90 deg. C.
But with GTX970 card, I am able to run it ...

Gaming Monster and Consume very less poer
Nothing more to say.
1.Maxwell architecture is simply awesome.
2. Performance is pretty good. But at the most Ultra settings of games like AC unity, Crew I'm getting 30 FPS( with core i7 4790k, 12 Gb 1600 MHZ Corsair RAM, 1080p monitor, 1.5 TB WD BLACK) and 45 FPS in Farcry4.
3. You can run a single unit with only 500 watt smps
But all the games are running silky smooth.
If you want to spend 2k or 4k more then buy the AMP edition or the MSI GTX 970. That is slightly better.

Best Video Card Ever
This is one of the best for a budget gamer out there.
Pros : Getting highest playable frames in all the games I have like Battlefield, Far cry 4, The Crew to name a few.
Better than my Galaxy gtx 580 (About 60 % performance increase)
It is a small card n I love it...
Temp stays below 70 degree.
Cons : There is a wild coil whine when in Far cry 4 menu screen !!! It turns out it is due to card pumping out > 3000fps
While fan running more than 70% speed it sounds like a blower!

a GTX 780 killer
Its probably the best graphics card for its price you can't get it better the form factor is small and the gm204 chipset is very efficient and fast and its a gtx 780 killer with only a 145w tdp and yes it beats the 290 get this card if you don't want a upgrade more often for atleast 3 years.

The Best in its domain. Value for money!
I am using GTX970 for ! month without any glitch. Farcry4 is smoothly running with ultra high graphics even with my core i3 processor. Mainly bought it for my oculus rift. Serves the purpose pretty well.

Not 4 gb it is 3.5 gb usable
For any person hoping to play latest games on 4k resolution at 60 fps then your dreams are shattered as this graphic card is actually 3.5 gb. Nividia says this happened due to communication gap between marketing and engineering team. If play games on 10atp or less then this is cheapest graphic card considering its performance.I suggest you should go for this card as it is value for money.

Awsome Performance!!!
Bought 2 weeks back... This is the best high end card for its price with amazing performance.. I was able to max out Evil Within , Shadow of Mordor (without ultra textures) , Ryse Son of Rome , BorderLands 2.. Apart from locked fps in few games all other games gave me 60 fps.... Great card!!!
