Zotac 660 Synergy Edition

Update, post 2 weeks of usage - Runs a little hot under full load, needs better PSU, gaming performance is good. VFM if the price is around 12.5K

Got Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 Synergy Edition

i order the general GTX 660 edition (2 Fans ) but got the Synergy edition (1 Fan), similar to many other customers here. But... the card is nice, compact and good performance with all the latest games of 2013-2014 (High settings). but the card runs little hot under load, more than 1hr 30mins continues gaming is not recommended. In normal running of PC or Watching movies its doesn't heats up so much. It doesn't comes with DVI to VGA adapter so only DVI-D (Dual link), DVI-I (Dual link) and HDM...

It is "the" bang for your buck gpu after the gtx 650 ti boost which I bought but, at that time price of this beauty was 18k now it's 14k ..Don't think about anyhting else, it is 10% better than my gpu but many games are optimized especially for this gpu, It's Kepler and the latest 700 series cards are a little too much costly, I think that this move is because of 760 that the price has been so steeply dropped, GET IT WHILE YOU CAN!! Size doesnt matter when you have a GTX660 inside!

First things First...You would never receive this 2 fan version GTX 660 ever. You'll always receive the synergy edition. But who the hell cares as long it's a GTX 660. Infact 1 fan version is far better!! So don't weep when you receive a synergy version.

Now coming to the review:

It's a winner all across the arena. Could slam any big title to its ultra most settings at playable frame rates.....wont right huge gaudy reviews but would say only one thing.......if you are a serious gamer and ...

Better than 660 Ti

It may sound a bit stupid,but GTX 660 is a better card than it's higher version:Gtx 660 Ti.
It is the best high-mid-budget card available out there and should last for at least 3 years for running games at high/ultra and 5-6 years for games on low/medium,
Update:
I recently bought the card..and it's AWESOME!!!
It'll run any game on Ultra!
I installed Crysis 2,and it's running smoothly with Ultra settings and the DirectX 11 patch as well!
It's worth every buck..go for it!

The Best buy!

Gave it 5 months to run and now ready for a review. Got it delivered by flipkart as expected with the same edition that was displayed. Installed it without any issues.

If you guys know about Microsoft FSX then you will probabaly know the load on a GPU.
Wanted to see the performance with ultra settings on FSX graphics. Though not very smooth, this one took it great.
Now using it for six months, with graphics set to medium on my FSX, still this GPU handles pretty decently and really well wit...

First of all *****DISCLAIMER***** potential buyers be aware that u will get only the synergy version of this u will not get the double fan version even after 3 times replacement.
But at the end of the day u need to get wat u deserve,unahappy with flipkart but happy with the product, its one awesome baby, ALL games in ULTRA wat so ever and still doesnt lag,
Recommend to get a 8 gb ram for smooth free flow gameplay.
