Laura Vanderkam is an American author, blogger and motivational speaker. She is a member of USA Today’s Board of Contributors, and writes the “168 Hours” blog for CBS MoneyWatch. Her extraordinary work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, City Journal, Scientific American, Reader’s Digest, Prevention, Fortune.com, and other publications. She has also appeared on several television programs, including The Today Show and Fox & Friends. A 2001 graduate of Princeton, Laura enjoys running, writing fiction, and serving as president of the Board of Trustees for The Young New Yorkers’ Chorus. She is currently based out of Philadelphia, where she stays with her husband, two young sons and baby daughter.
