When two people are in love, how much do you think one’s ethnicity and culture would impact the relationship? Apparently, too much. Directed by Abhishek Verman and starring Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amrita Singh, Ronit Roy, Revathy and Shiv Kumar Subramaniam, 2 States is a Hindi romantic drama film. The storyline of this flick follows Krish Malhotra and Ananya Swaminathan; the both of them meet at IIM Ahmedabad, a prestigious Indian college. During the course of their studies in the college, the both of them fall in love and decide to get married with the permission of their parents once their time in the educational institution is completed. However, when the couple’s parents meet, due to cultural differences, problems start to arise.
