Looks a book written in a hurry

Modi's Lok Sabha 2014 campaign proves a great case study for the best of the B Schools in the world. It was flawless in execution, meticulous in planning to very minute detail and ruthless in driving home the right message to the people and got the desired results.

Being a top journalist with enviable contacts that Rajdeep has, I brought this book with great anticipation that it will provide deeper insights and scholarly and masterful analysis of the above mentioned points and into the foll...

nicely crafted content . Lot of rare facts which was not known and not noticed during modi's campaign are available here . It certainly gives an opportunity to see both sides of the coin which at times is important in long run .

India's 'Game Change'....almost

In the analysis of the US presidential elections of 2012, two contrarian narratives emerged – one was the data driven methodology, pioneered by Nate Silver and later put into the form of a book by John Sides and Lynn Vavreck (‘The Gamble: Choice and Chance in the 2012 Presidential Election’), while the other was the blow by blow account of all behind the scene actions of the so-called game changing moments by Mark Helperin and John Heilemann (Double Down: Game Change 2012).
In his book ‘2014...

Quite engrossing

I may be reading the book at a slow pace but that's only because I do find this book highly engrossing.

My knowledge about Narendra Modi is sketchy at best. There were always these little pieces of information that was missing from the whole story, thereby preventing me from making an honest opinion of who or what is right.

I believe that if you come to this book with already some pre-conceived ideas about Rajdeep and Modi, then yes, you may end up loving / hating the book.

The truth is - ...

A very good read

I bought this book from a local bookshop and started reading it over the weekend. Firstly, I was expecting a hurried, make some money sort of book but was pleasantly surprised that it was in fact well-written and had been edited well. There were no glaring typos and only a couple of spelling mistakes. As for the content, I am surprised at the negative reviews from people. I dont think they have read it at all. In fact, I got the impression that Sardesai is developing a grudging respect for Mo...

an engaging, in-depth analysis of the groundbreaking elections

It's a brilliant book, superbly narrated. I don't know why early reviewers found it derogatory or offensive towards our current PM. This book provides a detailed analysis of the protagonists at the national stage as well as many of the regional leaders across the country. The writer and PM Modi has known one another since early 1990's and their relationship over the years has been well tracked. The writer has presented a balanced outlook and the book is in no way partisan. An unbiased and wel...

Quality:- the quality of the book is good
Containt :- A must read book if u want to understand the 2014 Indian election, a must of the people were saying that it is against BJP book but I think if you will read it without any prejudice than you will find of it is very neutral book , they just discribe the actual condition of India at 2014, he has written the positive and negative aspects of both the party and where in the campaign process Congress lacked and where BJP leaded
