It has been approx 3 months now since I bought this and have been using it . Honestly cannot be sure for it's claims about lightening lips but it does keep ur lips hydrated all night. Initially it was a bit uncomfortable bcz of it's texture which is more like a cream rather than the standard balmy wet texture lip balms . U had to have patience so do give it sometime to work .
