Description

This Boxset Include These Titles

1.) The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is recognised as one of the most influential books ever written In this seminal work, Stephen R. Covey presents a holistic, integrated, principle-centred approach for solving personal and professional problems. With penetrating insights and pointed anecdotes, Covey reveals a step-by-step pathway for living with fairness, integrity, honesty and human dignity - principles that give us the security to adapt to change, and the wisdom and power to take advantage of the opportunities that change creates.

2.) In The 8th Habit Stephen R. Covey opens up an entirely new dimension of human potential, and shows us how to achieve greatness in any position and any setting. To tap into it is a matter of finding the right balance of four human attributes: talent, need, conscience, and passion. At the nexus of these four attributes is what Covey calls voice - the unique, personal significance we each possess. Covey exhorts us all to move beyond effectiveness into the realm of greatness - and he shows us how to do so, by engaging our strengths and locating our powerful individual voices. The 3rd Alternative introduces a breakthrough approach to conflict resolution and creative problem solving. In any conflict, the 1st Alternative is my way and the 2nd Alternative is your way.

3.) The 3rd Alternative transcends traditional solutions to conflict by forging a path toward a third option that allows both parties to emerge from debate or even heated conflict in a far better place than either had envisioned. There are many methods of conflict resolution', but most involve compromise, a low-level accommodation that stops the fight without breaking through to amazing new results. With the 3rd Alternative, nobody has to give up anything, and everyone wins.

A perfect gesture to thank Stephen for his excellent contribution to humanity....these 3 books have fundamental principles, required for personal, interpersonal and professional development.
Only one demerit: the quality of the pages is not as good as original....

Steven Covey the Great

I am a Behavioural Trainer and Head L&D in a public ltd company. I recently designed a program around 7 Habits of highly Effective People. And, it was a resounding Hit.

I had read this book first in 2001 and started practising the first 3 Habits in real life. I owe a lot of my professional, spiritual, marital and physical success to the Principals described in this book.

This set contains the 8 th Habit as well so its a must have to read and keep and display at home or in office. Combo off...

One of the best books for self-management

I had read the 7 Habits of highly effective people soon after my college days. Considered by many people as one of the all-time best books ever written on personality management, It helped me understand a lot of things concerning self-management, especially in prioritizing the never ending list of things/tasks that one ought to do.

It would definitely take some commitment to cultivate the habits as you start reading, but that is expected because there is probably no shortcut to success. I ha...

The best part about this author is that he believes in merit and hard work and never tries to sell you easy, cheap shortcuts. He talks about reflection and a journey through yourself and that is indeed hard, but so worth it. Trust me, these things aren't meant to be easy, and in the end, it's the reader who benefits most from being patient enough to read and absorb the whole chunk of text.

An advice for life.

Stephen R. Covey just passed a few months ago and I thought it would be great if get some of his other books too.

I had read his most book "7 habits of most effective people" 3 years ago and I liked it so much that I had embedded its advice into the my system. It was one of the few good things I did in life. His contents are no-nonsense stuff. He is a academecian and you can be sure that he is not just another charlattan on the block. The very first thing he addresses in the book is that qu...

Stephen Covey, master

The passing away of Stephen covey, was an unfortunate event, but his legacies, found encrusted in these 3 classics will make him a legend for all times to come. Unlike many other writers of the modern age, covey will stand out for his firm perusal of ethics and principles in a man's life.
As covey remarks -"There are three constants in life... change, choice and principles."
