I am fond of Ruskin's writings. I have earlier read his short stories. But,this is the first novel I read and I highly like it. Very small but very wonderful, humorous, interesting. The way Ruskin tell the simple daily things in a humorous way is his speciality. Also the romantic scenes are very good. And chapter with Indu's mother is highly funny. How he describes her beauty is very witty. And I like many things like description of first rain, different types of knocks,seeing his lost father...

A good book to read. Ruskin bond has a special power to take you to his own world.
A handful of nuts is about his life when he was 21, his friends, survival, love, adventures and the streets of dehradun.

By the looks of it, the product seemed a bit old, but as I got it for a really good deal, I'm not replacing/returning it. Very cutesy in size. Apt for the people who are starting their reading journey as it doesn't feel intimidating.

The binding and pages of the book is very nice...and regarding the story...Ruskin Bond is always best 😊👍
