I got the book only due to flipkart as i love to read books written in english language and mr.bond is my favourite writer.the language used in the book by bond is very simple and readable. Stories are interested and related to ghost and rakshas.it is a nice book to learn different kind of sentences as well as simple but effective writing. Tajoddin shaikh

The book is a collection of some of the best spooky stories written by Ruskin bond...the best according to me was "who killed the rani?"
this book is a mixture of spooky,humorous and sometimes gentle ghosts................The stories in this collection are set amidst the mists and mellows magic of Bond's beloved mountains.
Over all the stories looms the benevolent or brooding presence of the Himalayas,described with Bond's inimitable lyricism.
overall It's a nice read and a value for money......

Though the book is not too much spooky, I like the book...The pleasure of reading Ruskin Bond's books is his writing style...Don't buy if you're looking for very scary stories...but if you're a Ruskin Bond fan & love his narrating style, then go for it...Its a great book for children...I gave it to my sister & she really liked the book...

Ruskin Bond is always my first choice when it comes to short interesting stories. Its better than Secrets. I have read many stories even in my school syllabus. The best in this story book is Rakshasas and Who killed the rani which am yet to complete but very mysterious. Worth buying. Value for money..Go ahead and buy it.

Book is awesome.. but quality of packing was very bad.. flipkart need to give attention on packing quality & delivery boy was a good guy..

Stories are written in simple and lucid
language but some of the stories of this book are very scary
