Good choice
I have used MacBook Air 2019 and I can definately say design and display wise it is better
performance wise I am in the very initial days of using it but I have used m2 chip in pro version which gives ultimate development experiance and performance
the concern related to performance is the ram which is 8 gb but I can be expanded to 16
value is a bit high as m3 chips are already out if you have the budget and want to go for graphic usage go for that if for software development choose this

Simply awesome
This laptop is great and best for Students and programmers.
A lot of people will tell you that you can't install cracked apps but there are lots of options.
The battery is best no laptop comes close to it in terms of battery.
The keyboard and trackpad are the best that I have ever uses in any laptop especially the keyboard that is spot on the backlit is the best among all the laptops.
Coming to performance M2 chip will handle anything you throw at it but to mention M2 chip has slower SSD ...

Terrific purchase
Battery performance is above average. My main concern was portability and suits the job. My last laptop can hold 40 to 45 minutes in battery with vs code and chrome, but this MacBook can hold like 10 to 12 hours.

Very good laptop. It will be more better if it come with Oled display/Liquid retina display and aleast one USB port.
Rest of than this. Everything is best in class. I am very happy with tha Mac.
But some time you feel there should be more storage.
