Ravi, Vijay and Appu, three friends, spendthrifts, they are like millionaires on their payday, broke and desperate the rest of the month. Their wives, homemakers all, are fed up with their husbands wayward ways. Not liking to hear the taunts of the local grocer, the landlord and others over their unpaid bills, rent and loans, the wives threaten revolt. They want the whole pay packet, on the first of the month, or they will not run the households.
