Love is blind and so is ambition. Aandhi is an Indian drama film that’s directed by Gulzar, the eminent lyricist, and stars Suchitra Sen, Sanjeev Kumar and Om Shivpuri. Having won two Filmfare Awards, the story of this film is about the chance meeting of two individuals who were once married and deeply in love. Having walked their separate ways due to professional aspirations, the woman becomes a politician while the man runs a hotel. Reminiscent of their times as a couple, the two start to strengthen their once known feelings of affection for each other, however, keen apprehension prevents them from uniting again. Will they ever get to know attachment the way they did? Or will their choices lead them towards the loneliness they have become so accustomed to?
