From seat No. 9, Hercule Poirot was ideally placed to observe his fellow air passengers. Over to his right sat a pretty young woman, clearly infatuated with the man opposite; ahead, in seat No. 13, sat a Countess with a poorly-concealed cocaine habit; across the gangway in seat No. 8, a detective writer was being troubled by an aggressive wasp.

What Poirot did not yet realize was that behind him, in seat No. 2, sat the slumped, lifeless body of a woman...

Surprising Climax

This is book (gifted by my girl friend) is my first read, in the series of Agatha Christie's novels. The Poirot is very intelligent character, defined by Ms. Christie.

I couldn't wait 2 complete this book. Awesome story & jaw dropping climax, now I became a fan of Agatha Christie and looking forward for some good reads.

This book is for those who love thriller fiction and who have a good concentration & focus (Coz this book requires your nerves)...

My final verdict, one of the finest thril...

Excellently Wrong Footed!!!!!!!

Ah!, you got it wrong again. Christie wins again. As usual she keeps us at her mercy. A one sitter and excellent solution in the end. One must admit that I failed once more even after getting all the clues. Though this one is lesser in pace compared to books like Roger Ackroyd, Death on the Nile or Orient Express, an enjoyable and worth paying for.

Come friends, enjoy the delicious meal served hot in the air. Regards.

A good read.

A nice book.Quite interesting.I liked the way suspicion fell on everyone in turn but this book
was an easy guess to me.Some parts in the middle of this book were boring but the climax was good. But still, this book is not the best.

Death by M. Poirot!!!

First advise:: Don't watch the Poirot Series on Fox Crime and believe that the book is as boring as its episodes. As episodes are generally modified to suit the time line of 1 hr.

Now coming to the review of Book, Great book to read. M. Poirot is a highly intelligent detective who always ends up in a crime scene. Agatha Christie builds up the plot very well and keeps u stick to it untill you really find who is the killer.

Great book to read if actually you are travelling, you would not leav...
