Why is there a shipping charge for this item?

Sellers with Flipkart Assured waive off the delivery charge for Orders over Rs 500. For Orders under Rs 500, a nominal delivery charge is added per item.

Sellers without Flipkart Assured may or may not add a delivery charge to your Order. This is subject to Seller discretion.

What is the estimated delivery time?

Sellers generally procure and ship the items within the time specified on the product page. Business days exclude public holidays and Sundays.

Estimated delivery time depends on the following factors:

      • The Seller offering the product
      • Product's availability with the Seller
      • The destination to which you want the order shipped to and the Seller's location

Why does the delivery date not correspond to the delivery timeline of X-Y business days?

It is possible that the Seller or our courier partners observe a holiday between the day you placed your order and the date of delivery, which is based on the timelines shown on the product page. In this case, we add a day to the estimated date. Some courier partners and Sellers do not work on Sundays and this is factored in to the delivery dates.

What do the different tags like 'In Stock', 'Available' mean?

      'In Stock'

Products‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

Products listed as ‘In Stock’ are readily available with seller.

      'Preorder' or 'Forthcoming'

      'Out of Stock'

Currently, the item is not available for sale. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know once it is available for purchase.

Sometimes, items have to be sourced by Sellers from outside India. These items are mentioned as 'Imported' on the product page and can take at least 10 days or more to be delivered to you.

      'Back In Stock Soon'

The item is popular and is sold out. You can however 'book' an order for the product and it will be shipped according to the timelines mentioned by the Seller.

      'Temporarily Unavailable'

The product is currently out of stock and is not available for purchase. The product could to be in stock soon. Use the 'Notify Me' feature to know when it is available for purchase.

      'Permanently Discontinued'

This product is no longer available because it is obsolete and/or its production has been discontinued.

      'Out of Print'

This product is not available because it is no longer published and has been permanently discontinued.

Why does the estimated delivery time vary for each seller?

Delivery times are influenced by product availability, geographic location of the Seller, your shipping destination and the courier partner's time-to-deliver to your location.

Please enter your default pin code on the product page to know more accurate delivery times on the product page itself.

Seller does not/cannot ship to my area. Why?

Enter your pincode on the product page to know whether the product can be delivered to your location.

If you haven't provided your pincode until the checkout stage, the pincode in your last used shipping address will be used to check for serviceability.

Whether your location can be serviced or not depends on:

      • Whether the Seller actually ships to your location
      • Legal restrictions, if any, in shipping particular products to your location
      • The availability of reliable courier partners in your location

At times Sellers prefer not to ship to certain locations. This is entirely at their discretion.

The Mystery of the Blue Train is a novel from the mistress of mystery, Agatha Christie, starring the Belgian detective Hercule Poirot.

    Summary of the Book

Murder on a train is nasty business. When an American heiress is found murdered on Le Train Bleu, the Blue Train, everyone on the train could have been suspects. The murderer must have thought that it was an easy escape, and profitable, since the heiress’ famous “Heart of Fire” ruby was missing. The only other person on the train who could have noticed something is Katherine Grey, who is spending her first winter away from England, having come into an inheritance of her own. Katherine met the now deceased Ruth Kettering on the journey, and discovered that she was leaving an unhappy marriage to go to her lover. Ruth’s maid says she noticed a man in Ruth’s compartment, but doesn’t know who he was. Suspicion falls on Ruth’s lover, the Comte de la Roche. However, there is one other man on the train that the murderer did not take into account before executing his plan. That one person’s presence itself may yet change the outcome of the investigation. That man is Hercule Poirot, the little Belgian detective with a proud moustache and a vendetta against murderers, and he is hot on the trail.

    Great Story, Poor paper quality.

The story is very good. But this specific edition of book by HarperCollins for sale in India has very poor paper quality, thin brown paper. You don't need light at the back of the paper to see whats printed backside, it visible naturally as its that thin. Though I enjoyed the book story wise, sometimes when there was even a fint light in the back it became a great eye strain to read.

    Great read

The book is a beautiful read. There is not doubt that she has a Shakespearen form of writing.Apart from this, "Murderer on the Orient Express" is a must read too.

To flipkart, please update the birth details of Ahatha Christie to Sep 15, 1890.

    Just About Average!!

This is one of those books which start very promisingly but falter towards the end.

A very rude line, the above. However, that is exactly how I felt. This book was a strong reminder of "The Murder on Orient Express", which was a genius btw. Though the story starts explosively and moves at a reasonably fast pace, with all the characterization in the correct place; one would expect the climax to be more 'reasonable'.

However, the climax, when it came, was kind of disappointing. Atleast to me...

A bit different Christie Book !!!

This book is a bit different from usual Christie affairs. First of all the setting of book is not London, it's mainly France (picturesque Nice). Secondly, first time I witnessed Christie believing in somewhat supernatural (it's not a spoiler, when you will read you will know what I meant). Generally characters are very tightly knit in Christie's book but this book has too many characters which i felt was a bit unnecessary.

All in all it becomes my 4th favorite book of Christie so far - clim...

    Excellent story

Its a good book by agatha christie but the introduction is too boring. I almsot felt like throwing it away when Poirot made a stunning entry. But one with less patience will certainly throw the book. Needs a more thrilling Beginning.
