Dr. Padmore Agbemabiese is a Professor of English and Literature at the Cuyahoga Community College. Professor Agbemabiese's academic research interests have focused mainly on aural literature of the Ewes of Ghana, Togo and Benin and in particular, the applications of names and naming systems to the understanding of the sociocultural and political experiences of the people. His research has helped define the most effective ways people look at themselves and pioneered novel strategies of naming themselves and how cultural identity is vital to the Africans personality.
