This laptop is easily the best pick right now under 50-55k. The entire a515-51g series, in fact. They vary in price by a few thousand bucks based on RAM, display and keyboard backlighting, but that all depends on your need. I chose to go with this one because I needed a linux variant with 8 gigs of RAM. For an extra 3-4k you get FHD but I already had that in 32 inch so skipped on it. CONS:

1. You can only use UEFI only if you have partitioned your HDD in OPT mode and not in MBR.
So people who are going to install Windows in it, please keep that in mind.
While creating a bootable USB also, select OPT mode instead of MBR.

It's a good laptop under this price range, comes with i5 8th Gen processor with MX 150 graphics card which is equivalent to desktop gt 1030. considering the price to performence it's a great laptop because laptops with same configuration are slightly coast high compared with this. You must have read other reviews. The machine is good. But it has considerable flaws. Two things:- 1) The total 8GB RAM is 4GB solder ram (on mboard) + 4GB RAM stick. SO you can't go to 16G by adding another 8G stick. 2) The m.2 SSD slot is under the RAM slot for which one needs to whole back panel and warranty gets void. So be careful
