A GENUINE REVIEW OF PREVIOUS USER
I had purchased this hdd from flipkart 1.5 yr ago after reading an article in TOI stating it as most sturdy hdd.
No doubt its a sturdy hdd but the BIGGEST problem with it is that the input slot where we attach wire is very fragile . It moves laterally and it literally makes your heart stop as you know that it can make your hard disk useless.

Best External Hardisk
I bought this product after a long research. I was at first nervous to go with "ADATA" brand.
But then I bought this one because three of my friends hard-disks had got permanently damaged after falling down.
I was worried that its speed will be low, But after testing it, I am very happy.
This is the speed I got in USB 3.0 Port.
Maximum Write speed:- 106MBPS
Maximum Read speed:- 104MBPS
Average Read/Write speed while copying movies :- 85 to 100MBPS

Talking about delivery, flipkart surprised me again, I got the package in ~24 hrs of placing the order. Good work guys!
Coming to product. So far hard disk works fine. The package contains a hard-disk and USB 3.0 to 2.0 connector.
Product is awesome. Excellent speeds, great response time, and sturdy performance.
But, once I had got my 500GB version develop some unrecoverable bad sectors. Still, there is no drive on earth that can fail.
I've been using it for over an year now. So far so go...

A safe HDD...GOOD SPEED ON USB3.0
Hello every one...I ordered this HDD 2day back on Sunday..FKart delivery was fast indeed...
first i was very confused to get this or buffalo 1 TB portable..after a few reviews
I have Opted for this particular HDD because it has 2 good things
*water proof..1meter-30mins..
*shock Proof..Military Standards
..casually i have tested dropping from table top..it was fine..material is good rubber finish, dust attractive..
size comparison little bigger in length....then usual

I had just bought a WD My Passport 1TB 2 months back. Had around 750GB of data on that one. One day, it suddenly stopped working and when I put it close to my ear, it was clicking. Best Writing Speed
This is amazing product , up to 90mpbs average writing speed, amazing :)

Excellent Product
Product is nice. true to its words. definitely a shock and water proof and its rubber finish makes it even more better and durable. product is worth it. just started to working on it. transfer rate is good both in USB 3.0 and 2.0 also. read and install very fast.

Great looking HD. Nice silicone cover with provision for USB cable.
Great speed with USB 3.0 (Filled the whole 1TB in under 3 hours), not so good with USB 2.0
Lightweight, but not so compact as the other products.
Only Con, Case does not feel so sturdy.
Update after a year:
USB 3.0 connector is not so sturdy, almost broken now. Don't know if the warranty covers it. Will update after contacting the service center.

Looks cool and sturdy. 4 star because the rubber in the hdd enclosure is coming out.
Got it delivered in 2 days as it was shipped from Bhiwandi warehouse. Product looks good and sturdy but feels like the quality of the product should be better. Never tried Adata before but lets see how it performs.
