I felt the "Wow" factor when i opened and saw it for the very first time. I was mesmerized by the product build and its colour(Blue).

The product looks very durable in hand and i certainly feel it can withstand any accidental falls.The upper rubber finish also Looks good. It really doesnt Look like those cheap made plastic.

I bought this HD just in time before the price hike and i must say one thing, it is FAST! The usb 3.0 with work perfectly even with my 2.0 comp and 3.0 PC ( lighting speed copy and paste). This is my 3rd HD. 1st from ADATA. while buffalo and seagate ate just as good with way better service options and service centres in india, ADATA sold me on the Shock proof and water proof spec. (I tend to be a lil careless).

Apart from it being Fast and the cool looks it gets a tough competition from sea...

Looks like a mean machine. the yellow one is the best looking.. the rubber is a dust magnet. be sure to keep ur hardrive in a similar size case as far as possible. it's the best hard drive ive bought so far. far surpasses seagate, WD and toshiba. sturdy build. i havent drop tested it (i would never want to). but youtube videos confirm how sturdy it really is.

Got the product delivered within 30 hours of ordering... Amazing quality of updates from Flipkart. As regards the product - dropped the drive from 5 feet and tested it and it worked true to its spec. Havent tried the "water proof part". Data transfer for the first time was fast given the volume of data. But the repeat sync takes almost the same time which is a little frustrating. The data can be encrypted and the software HDD2GO is great - easy to understand and use unlike some of the seagate...

i have used many hdd like wd and sony....but this one is unique....offers a great protection...has a great usb 3.0 speed....what else do you need man....buy it without thinking much :D

This product is the best one i came across. in the process of ordering this, it went out of stock 4 times before i could lay my hands on this beast, gives constant high speed in 3.0 as compared to other hdd's. looks way too awesome. and as such works great. Got it today. 3 days delivery time. not bad.

won't be using it on 2.0 much so i'll not say anything about it.

The look is good. It is smaller than what it appears in the image. It's cool looking. The transfer speeds are good. Formatted it with NTFS and used it in my laptop with SSD harddisk and transferred 17.9 GB of data in less than 5 minutes. Solid copying speeds of greater than 90Mb/s. Went upto 115MB and the least was around 11Mb/s. Reliable one and worth the money. But delivery took 6 days.

I hv bought from flipkart and got amazed with delivery & packaging as it was delivered to me on very next day of putting order, only 30 hrs wait after order placed.Wow...

About HDD..
I was 1stly skeptical about this drive as after so many research on net I found that Brand is not vry much known in India but mostly in US & UK & Taiwan (made in Taiwan).Also its bit slow than other.
I was confused between seagate backup plus & this HD710.
Also on some comparing sites they showing very low resu...
