Product Description
The DashDrive HV620 external hard drive offers an expansive storage capacity, speed, and power. Its sleek and glossy body which makes it aesthetically pleasing. Power and speed are facilitated by this power bank’s USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface.
Scratch-prevention Design

The slightly raised lip on the edge of the drive protects its surface from scratch when the drive is laid flat.

Sleek and Glossy Appearance

LED Indicator

A bright blue LED on this drive lets you know when data is being read from or written. This helps prevent accidental disconnections during these read or write operations.

so far excellent

like most of the folks reading the reviews, i too was hesitant on buying Adata.
I was not aware of this brand, nor does it carry the reputation of Seagate, WD, etc.
But well, even they do go bad and sometimes ship faulty disks.

But while checking for product reviews on tech forums, i found nothing wrong and decided to buy it as it was 3-4 k cheaper than seagate (or WD) and had a 3 yr warranty.

I primarily needed it to backup my PC data, so I could afford the risk.

Been using for about a mo...

great

i purchased this hard disk after reading various reviews on the internet.
Adata is a brand from UK that is selling hard disks at a cheaper price than other brands.
the speeds are on par with other hard disks.it does not got very much hot over long usages, and looks great in white.
i brought a 2TB version for my friend and it also works great.

Good

Everything about the product is good. Except that it is prone to scratches because of its glassy covering. Transfer speed is good. The look is good and also feels light.

Considering the price ( i got it for 6800) it is worth giving a shot.

Can't trust important data with this one

Bad HDD to trust your data with. If you hear a clicking sound every time you eject it even after the proper safe removal procedure then you HDD is definitely failing. I lost 1.6TB of all my photographs and music. The worse part is the Service centre where they take ages. I've been waiting for more than a month now and they say they are expecting the stock only by the month end and so I have to wait even more. Even if I get this HDD i am never going to trust it with my data again. Go for a Sea...

Nice product

Although the first piece I received was faulty, flipkart immediately got it replaced. Delivery for some reason was delayed both times, which was highly unusual for flipkart.
Coming to the product, I have had a great experience with it. Transfer rates are high and price is also decent. The surface kind of attracts scratches though. But apart from that very good.

Never ever buy a ADATA product

Flipkart well done....received my HDD within 2 days from Mumbai to UP... a wow experience

Coming to Adata HV620...bought it becoz of its good reviews on flipkart and the price it offered.
First Use - Lappy- Lenovo S206 AMD (Windows 7 Basic) Speed(USB 3.0) : 5-6 MBPS Shocked
2nd Use - Lappy - Dell Studio 1537 (vista) Speed(USB 2.0): 10-12 MBPS

I am a bit disheartened with the speed and also it is not at all scratch resistant(would apply a mobile scratch gaurd)Reviews claimed a speed of 35 -9...
