Initial Impression : Excellent
Just Got this Hard Drive from WS Retail at their Offer Price and there no way to decide - At that price only one way to go which is click at the 'Buy Now' button and the massive 1.81 TB (1.96 TB under Mac Maverick OS) space is yours.

Works as intended
Received delivery of the product and put to test with around 800GB of data of various types.
1. First external appearance, it looks stylish but with a glossy exterior which will catch fingerprints etc.
2. A tad bit smaller (just about) than my Seagate expansion drive.
3. All side edges are raised so as to prevent scratches to prevent scratches.
4. USB 3.0 cable is very thick and shorter as compared to the one that I got with Seagate. will be a bit problematic in storing both of them in a soft...

Bought this 1TB for my entertainment collection and truly amazed with the entire online buying process through Flipkart.
Talking about the product - ADATA though not a BIG name has some unique products and this is no exception. With amazing speeds copy to and fro is a cake walk.
Being small in size and tough build quality - one can say its a buyers delight.

Best price with extra feature
Flipkart offering is lowest prices in leading external Hard drive brand. No one can match this price.
Additional feature is HDD to go software and awesome software PC lock/File and folder also we can lock..
I am fully recommending this brand and model no. HV620 better than leading brand in price range and quality is almost same.

Very good product
Recieved the package within 2 days thanks to awsome flipkart's service. Product looks very good so is the performance also. Only problem i found is the transfer speeds in Windows 8.1 which gives only 30mbps but when i do the same amount of data transfer in Ubuntu i get around 90+ mbps.
Final Verdict: ADATA has one of the best in transfer speeds i also own seagate and WD and there speeds in medicore when compared to ADATA.

Terrific purchase
A great product at nice pricing.. whioe. Yhe otherbrands are providing the sm amount of storage on a high price of 6k 5k, adata is doing a great job..

Cheapest 1TB HDD in the market ... but it has a solid build and a smooth finish.
Works fine . Only thing is that the default format is FAT32 , so if you want to store files above 4GB ... you should format it to NTFS before using ... it only takes a few seconds.
You should definitely go for this product !!!

Got this hdd for a price of just around 7k...(in the offers zone)
Been using two 1 tb portable hdds (buffalo ministation & the HGST Tuoro)...
This product is at par with the other two..if not better..copy speeds on an average is above 60 mbps(in usb 3.0) on windows seven(this may differ for different people as it depends on your computer as well and not only the hdd)..form factor is good..the only bone to pick would be the glossy finish which seems to attract fingerprints and scratches..overa...

Very good value for money
Overall product quality very good.
Exterior finish, xfr speed, cable quality very good. No heat generation, blinking blue light easy on eyes.
Only downside is the glossy exterior which gets scratched very easily and attracts dust as well, inspite of their claimed elevated guards on the edges......and the quality of female usb connector is not upto the mark, well they are design issues of the manufacturer. But they do not affect the product performance in any way.

Q:Not working in desktop why?
A:Assuming you are using it on the front ports, you can try using the ports connected directly to the motherboard. I had some problems with the ports on my cabinet but works fine with the on-board USB.
