The novel with all its flashy and provoking title is multi-faceted when you read it. It has various themes that concern today's India especially the youth of the country.
The themes inculed: Reservation, Love, Friendship, Writer's Angst, Quest of your inner self, and some other supporting/subsidiary themes.

The novel tackles all these themes very skilfully. The author shows a command over fiction by dividing the book into three stages/parts. For me they're more of stages than just parts.

A refreshing take on today's youth and their delimmas filled with politics, idealism, love, friendship, philosophy and above all a different narrative on reservation. Worth reading to discover the new voice of current generation with its own lingos and images. One must GRAB & read it.

The concept of the novel is really good...the story of Mayank is very real..the questions asked in the book are very relevant to the current state of India...being a SC myself i did'nt find anything wrong and i totally agree with whatever the author is trying to potray here..the author dares to see India in its future which is quite painful..
