It works on AA batteries (2 AA batteries for mic & 2 AA batteries for Receiver). Hence this can be used in all outdoor and indoor applications. Also MX brand EP stereo plug to P-38(Phono) socket adaptor connector if provided for FREE, so that this can be used in all CAMERAS and LAPTOP which has a separate mic port as EP stereo. The Range(distance coverage from receiver to microphone) is up to 150 feet.
