Andrew Hodges really did his Homework

Alan Turing: The Enigma. The man himself is an Enigma. The book is a page-turner. Kept me rooted for days. I felt like reading it over and over again.

Buy it

Its a huge book with detailed information about Alan and all his theories that seem to get over the top once in a while. It is written by a Mathematician about a Genius . So expect the theories to get extremely bewildering. It didnt interest me at all despite the fact that it was considered to be a great book as per good reads reviews.
Thank You!

Worth the money

Well this book does a great job of honoring the genius and legacy of Alan Turing, the father of mordern computer.
The fact that the author of this book is a mathematician himself is positive sign for this book.
He has explored Alan's life, work and mathematics the best possible way.
The book is for those who love maths and want to know more of his life and his various advanced work on maths and code breaking.
The book is over 600 page long,it may not be an easy read for someone who has no math ...

Very poor

The book has scratches all over it!! Color is scraped off its cover at several spots. I bought this book for my English teacher and now I feel ashamed to gift such an old looking searched book. I also ordered another book long back, half of the prints on its pages were absent. The eye on the cover was at the top while the eye was supposed to be in the middle.
