I am using it from 4 months and its fully satisfying to me. It is not a know brand phone but it have better functionality rather than branded phone. The Display quality is awesome, Camera quality is better than other smart phone,No hanging issue , Processor speed is too good, no late response, Audio quality is equivalent to Sony,touch is fully responsive with slim body & light weight. It comes with 4.2.2 jelly bean but easily updatable to Kitkat 4.4.2.

The performance and the configuration of the mobile is best in the market for such a price. I bought this mobile in July and the OS has upgraded to Kitkat recently. Its a monster for a gamer. The picture clarity when shot outside during day is crispy. The pictures in low light look a bit grainy though.
Overall, I consider this phone is worth all the money

The phone is the slimmest phone I have ever seen in the 5" screen category. The feel is very premium. Unfortunately, the boom band was dead on arrival (doesn't charge / no LEDS blinking). I called up Flipkart CS for getting it replaced and I was told that it would take 10 working days for the boom band to get replaced. I wonder why it takes 10 days for replacement while it took just 3 days while purchasing it. I hope they replace the boom band as promised.

The Alcatel IdolX + is a great phone in its price range.

It has a sleek, premium profile and a stunning display - the biggest positives for me.
The processor performance with the 2GB RAM is more than adequate for day to day usage.

The UI (4.4.2 update) is nice and get things done without a lot of surprises.

Camera is adequate too - particularly in brightly lit conditions. Do not keep a lot of expectations in low lit conditions.

Battery is adequate for a day of normal use.

Excellent display and for the cost you can't find any fault. Phone works seamlessly and the camera quality is pretty good. Was in serious doubt before purchasing the product but I'm a pretty happy customer now.

I have been using this device since 2 months. After taking consideration of many reviews and feedback I finally decided to buy this product. Here is the list of pros and cons below from my observation.

Pros :
1. Great Design , look and feel
2. High Quality video recording
3. Multi task Performance
4. Camera Quality

Cons :
1. Performance of the CPU is not matching to the Octa Core
2. Batter Life is comparatively less with 13k range mobiles
3. Photos are bit over saturated..may need to check...

You get awesome full HD display, android kitkat (with update), true octa core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, JBL earphone with 24bit audio. Boom band is a plus thing for fitness freaks.
Phone is nicely built, light weight and quite thin. No lag whatsoever as UI is very light and it has 2GB RAM with very good processor. Camera is quite OK in normal lighting condition but in low lighting condition, it doesn't do that well. WIth 3G on and audio listening, battery lasts through 6 to 8...
