Alcatel One Touch X080 Data Card

THIS IS A TRULY PLUG-N-PLAY DEVICE. JUST OPEN THE BACK COVER, INSERT THE SIM AND CLOSE IT. THE SUPPORTING SOFTWARE IS AUTOMATICALLY INSTALLED. EXCELLENT SMS SUPPORT. MOST DATA CARDS DO NOT RECEIVE SMS WHEN YOU ARE CONNECTED TO INTERNET. BUT HERE YOU GET SMS EVEN WHEN YOU ARE SURFING. IN SHORT, GOOD PRODUCT FOR THE PRICE. FLIPKART IS EXCELLENT IN SERVING BUT THEIR CHENNAI SELF-DELIVERY IS NOT TRUE IMAGE OF FLIPKART.

Works straight out of the box. No issues with drivers or anything. I used it with Windows xp and 7. Had no issues.

My connection is Vodafone and it supports most of the common network providers like Airtel, Voda, Reliance, Idea, MTNL and BSNL. Don't know about Loop and Videocon.

i have use it, yes it install automatically and you don't have to give access point, but it doesn't generate for some network like Videocon, since i use videocon sim i bought it and it lying there unused, also the start up also takes longer time than other data card like hauwai and micromax. this is common for all alcatel. sorry alcatel i feel that i got the wrong device.
