I tried plugging in one of the USB as well as both using a brand new Hard Drive. I only see the LED lights display on the adapter. Both my computers were only able to recognize it as a USB Mass Storage Device but could not show anything else. I also tried connecting to my phone, I also tried troubleshooting. Excellent! what I was expecting. first it was not working with my phone then I notice I need to format the hard disk. Specifically mentioning that it works with smart phones and tablets,you just need to connect the extra usb cable to a power bank or the charger as in the picture given by me .thank you go for it.
