Beautiful!
This is such a beautiful book, and easily my favorite! I got to know about this book from my 10th grade history course and I was absolutely awestruck after I read an extract. it look we two years to get the book in my hands, but when I did, I never let it go. Although it is slightly, different from the original, the translator has done it great justice. Remarque has struck every single chord in my heart.

A must read
A must read for anyone interested in war literature. Even though this is a fictional work, This has been considered as one of the great literature of any conflict. BTW, Hitler banned this book during world war 2 and Sven Hassel Got inspired by this book.
And am still wondering which retard rated 4 star in the rating section.
If you are interested in war literature, try reading Way back by the same author, Sven Hassel's books, Catch - 22, Rise and Fall of third Reich, One Soldier's war etc

Essential reading!
A must for everyone, one of the best anti-war novels I have ever read. Especially recommended read for people who see any value in any kind of war regardless of his/her political/ideological inclinations.

Book was excellent. Last page was not found. When it was delivered that time i did not give much attention to see the condition of the book but when i started reading after a gap of near about four months from the date of purchase ,it came into my notice. Other wise it was a fantastic novel to read.

The book is indeed an all time classic,there's no doubt about it.However the one i received appeared to be a bit worn out and dusty(as though it had been lying at some warehouse or storefront for a long time) and had warped edges.But still i decided to keep it,i wish they had lowered the price a bit,given that it didn't look like a new product.
