Thousands of young students travel miles away from home to prepare for the IIT entrance examination. You may often find a Savyasachi, a Satya, or even a Tarang among them. Their first venture away from home is both exciting and difficult at once. The landlord is eccentric and not all tenants are easy to get along with. Satya and Savyasachi struggle to stay focused on their goal. However, life at the Gul Factory boys hostel is quite carefree. Each inmate is one of his own kind, and pursuing a quixotic quest of his own. Tarang and Paramhans are caught up in the web of their own questions. The IIT Dream has brought them far from home and turned them into small eaters. But what about the other three signs of an ideal student? Perhaps, they must bring the perseverance, dedication and alertness on their own.
