  • Description
'During your last days, you will begin to believe.'' I said, ''No, dear Sir, it shall not be.''Bhagat Singh was one of the greatest freedom fighters of the independence of India. He fearlessly led protests and kept on fighting for his nation in the way he thought fit, even if his life was at stake. This fearless quality shone in his writings as well. After he was imprisoned, he put pen to paper and wrote 'Why I Am an Atheist'-an essay questioning the existence of god-with complete knowledge of the fact that this was a country filled with people who were generally religious and superstitious. From an essay that explores atheism, heartfelt letters to family, inspirational letters to comrades, to notices sent to court, and even an introduction to a poetical work-Bhagat Singh's wide-ranging works, reflections of a cultivated mind, have been put together in this covetable collection.

    Terrific

Bhagat Singh one of the most brave freedom fighter of India laid his life for the nation at a very young age of 23.
When you go through his letters , they define him as a great personality with accomplished knowledge more than of his age .
A person at such a tender age had studied about many great revolutionaries all over the world , their ideas helped him to be persistent in his aim to fight against British and bring a change in the country by fighting for the greatest cause - nationalism.

    Terrific

After finishing the book one can easily say that Bhagat singh was way ahead of his time. Sad that he didn’t live for 10 to 20 years more otherwise the freedom movement would have been more interesting. He is definitely an ideology. This must be a part of school curriculum.

    Awesome

The book talks about Bhagat Singh's life, his point of view on LCC or Lahore Conspiracy Case and also about the evolution of his very party. It was very good to know about our freedom fighter through his own book. History textbook just had a paragraph about this vibrant freedom fighter.

Thanks to the great inspiration who passed his point s and concepts to us
