Shivya Kumar Verma, a young, aspiring author, has a keen passion for writing poetry since her younger years. Since the early stages of her life, she has always been less of a talker. She believed that the art of writing did much more justice towards expressing what she wanted to portray. With her growing intellect for writing, she had many opportunities to present her poetry to the world. She joined one of the most prestigious international schools of India, Mussoorie International School. She learned quite a lot from the teachers and students around her. Mussoorie International School provided her with the potential platform to promote her poetry and motivate her towards achieving one of her milestones. After selecting her poems along with the poems of a few highly talented students, the school published it in two school poetry books. After graduating from MIS, many of her poems have been selected to be published in many anthologies and children’s magazines.
