@Parminder, yes it will support discrete graphic cards, but you can crossfire/dual graphics with only R7-250. It's CPU performance is comparable to i5, and integrated GPU is better than i5 and can be comparable i5+ basic graphic card. Based on the benchmarks I have seen, almost all games are playable at low, medium settings. in HSA optimized applications it can beat out even i7. But if you are gamer, better stick with i3/FX-6300+powerful dGPU. I play only DotA2, it's more than enough for that...

One of the best things I have bought so far. Purely amazing. It alone is capable of letting me play all the games I were wanted. Crysis 3, AC synndicate, COD black ops 3, all play smoothly. Of coarse we would need a graphics card but that's even more exciting because it'll be extra powerful with it's crossfire tech. Awesome stuff...

this is a great processor, based on HSA it will perform better than IB-E processors in HSA accelerated apps.

NOTE: Only processor is just a part of system, and for an APU you need a very fast RAM and a good motherboard, ASUS A88X Pro is the best mobo for this and G Skill's RipjawsZ 2400 MHz CAS 10 2x4 GB RAM is perfect combo for this.

this is a new processor from amd.but i want to know is this better than the fx series.. as i am pondering over a processor to buy which can support hardcore gaming..like GTA V,crysis 3 etc.please advise.

Received the product within 5 days and the processor is simply exceptional,If you are an average or moderate gamer you wont need a GPU since its inbuilt GPU is sufficient to play FAR CRY 3, COD:BLACK OPS at highest resolution.
