best buy for budget conscious build
This is an Apu it has integrated Gpu architecture within the cpu you dont need an additional GPU for this APU.
This can run all games on mid -high settings on 1080p .
the integrated GPu is discreet level and is certainly better than your 2-3 years old graphics card and it smokes the intel's HD graphics any time any where.
If you are some one who likes to play games and is not an enthusiast this apu will do good for you .

Awesome product from AMD!!
This is a great effort by AMD integrating a GPU and CPU that really is capable of playing games at decent settings with more than enough FPS.I have played Crysis 3 at 1280*720 with details at medium and BF3 at 1280*720 with everything on high and that too while the processor was at stock freq.
My pc specs are:
1)AMD A10 5800k
2)4 gb Corsair Vengeance ram(1600Mhz 9-9-9-24 latency)(will upgrade to 8gb soon)
3)Coolermaster Thunder 500 W PSU
4)AsRock Fm2A55-DGS mobo

This is the 2nd generation apu's from AMD.its piledriver architecture,which a better than ivy and bulldozer.its has four piledriver core.In flipkart they are saing above;it has only 1mb cache.no it has 4MB cache memory.but no l3 cache.it is clocked at 3.8ghz with amd turbo core technology it can go upto 4.2 ghz.it is also an unlocked cpu.so you can overclock it.buy a radeon hd 6670 1gb GDDR5 along with it and crossfire(dual graphics) and enjoy.that will give 107% boost on graphics.it will be ...

Go for it blindly
I bought it and it gave a superb performance
3.8 Ghz base clock and 4.2 Ghz turbo mode
by the way the turbo mode activates by itself so u don't need any drivers for it like in intel
if you want a rig and don't want to purchase a graphic card, then blindly go for it
all games are running on ultra high settings on integrated graphics
definitely better than i7
for the record,, the graphic card is raedon hd 7660d 512mb

best of both worlds
excellent product for budget build pc, good price range . at first taught of going with fx 8350,but considering the price point had to go with this ,
smooth multitasking compared to intel , no need to buy any cooling products,if planning to run at 3.8 to 4.2 ghz .
built a gaming cpu for 30000 without graphics card as there was no need of it , with 16 gb and 2tb HD .
all present games are running smoothly .
if you have enough money go for fx 8350 instead of i7 ,
as you can buy a nice graph...

AMD A10 5800k is a surprisingly good processor

Save more by bying an AMD graphics card.
I dont want to say much about this processor. It defenitely does not have the power of the FX series. Espesially the FX6100 (6300.6200 ) all in somewhat same range are all much more powerful than this preocessor, guess why ?.. they have 6 cores. ( best price to performance ratio ).
BUT, for a mid budget buyer, he can save a lot on the graphics card, he can use the dual graphics technology . This increases the performance of the PC like 3 times in gaming. Thats the main benefit of the A series...

Best choice & far better than Intel processor in this range...
A great combo with a good processor & average graphics card.
Almost every up to date game I've played with it in medium settings. Except "Metro - Last Light" every single game have ran smoothly.
Compare to Intel processor this is much better choice. (Y)
