Reasonably competent and cheap processor
Purchased this for my HTPC & File server.
Have two full fledged desktops running at home and other smartphones and wanted a small system to store and stream the media & files through home.
Was looking for a reasonably performing processor with low current consumption. Its elder more powerful version (Athlon 5350) wasn't available anywhere so had to purchase 5150 which is clocked 400 MHz lower at 1.6 Ghz
Windows runs great, So does Kubuntu, No Driver issues except that Graphics driver needs t...

awesome product in less price
at first i thought this processor is weak( because of the clock speed which is 1.6). but then i checked the processor in game debate as a requirement for "batman arkham city " and it gave a green tick for the cpu ie. the processor.With the amd radeon 5450 2gb ddr3 , the amd athlon 5150 is a deadly combo.....

Value-for-money
It was my first build with AMD processor and I was not expecting that it can handle GTA V without a graphics card (integrated graphics) on 4 GB DDR3 ram with cabinet and am1m-s2h motherboard which all cost me around 12000 rs but now I am gonna exchange the athlon 5150 to 5350 for more speed with hyperfury 8 GB for more Fps .
But athlon 5150 can handle (GTA V) , (NFS Carbon, MW , MW 2012 , Shift , )
