Antifouling paint, applied to the underwater hull , BODY AND FAN of ships OR ANY UNDER WATER STRUCTURE , discourages or prevents the growth of organisms that attach to the SURFACE . Its self-polishing resin and biocide, such as CU OXIDE along with a booster biocide, help to prevent bio fouling organisms. Anti fouling is the process of removing or preventing the accumulation of marine organisms from the surface and the paint used for this application is called anti fouling paint.
