Mash the cooked dhal and add vegetables, onion, tomato, salt, and water considering the requirement. Cook till all the vegetables are cooked well. Add tamarind juice and sambar powder. Boil it for 5 to 10 mins. Heat oil in a pan and add more splutter mustard seeds, red chilies, and curry leaves. Add this to the sambar and mix well. Garnish with coriander leaves for taste.
