When I started preparing for the entrance exams one year back, I totally relied on a book by R.S. Aggarwal. There were about 10,000 questions for practice (really good questions) but that book is only for practice not for the concept development part. I also searched so many videos on youtube and consulted other books. Then one day, I ordered this book after reading positive reviews.
This book is so simple and well written like someone is teaching you every little thing about reasoning. Now...

but hard work need a good guidance , a smart work! and a STANDARD BOOK!
like Arun Sharma and BSC comes under these standard book categories .
and the book likes S.Chand is worst one! never buy it .book is that which has concepts and theories not a page of formulas and rest thousands of copy paste questions from previous year paper.
I read the whole book 3 times , and attempted many previous year question from different sources ...

MK Pandey has covered the High level reasoning topics (assumption, inference, cause-effect, course of action) etc in very lucid and user friendly language.
And he has also given some good tips for eligibility tests, input output, arrangement questions.

This is different from conventional books such as RS Agarwal, because MK Pandey first explains the theory / concept in Depth. (Other books just show you a few solved sums).

The book looks uninteresting from the outside but boy! I was in for a real surprise. The concepts are clearly explained and there are plenty of exercises to help you get the concepts right. A must buy for all those preparing for the various competitive exams. I bought this book to help me prepare for the CLAT and it helped me get an awesome rank.

its a good book for concept development(for analytical as well as logical reasoning)...and also if you have lots of time..before the competition exams ahead...but if you dont than plz go for some other books(with practice) which binds up the concepts in short...and works more on for giving practice.
one of such books according to me is one of arihant publication(known to me).

Very good for clat. As per new pattern of clat-ug. Reasoning questions is passage based😍😍.

I must say this is the best book for bank exams , the chapter are very neatly explained . Its like the book is talking to you , you don't need a teacher when you have this book . I am so impressed to this book that i joined the bsc academy .
I also read R s agarwal before this , but trust me r s agarwal book does not help much in banks exam . R.s agarwal book is just collection of lot of questions . but it does not explain anything .
