Venerable Master Hsing Yun is one of the world’s most venerated Buddhist master. He founded the Fo Guang Shan order, the largest religious and humanitarian organization in Taiwan. He was born in China and exile to Taiwan. He is well known for his humanitarian work and his prolific writings (over 100 books) and for his teaching of Dharma (Buddhist eternal truth). He is a pioneer in promulgating the ideals of Humanistic Buddhism, improving the world rather than leaving it behind.
