The main aim fo writing this book is to highlight the resource system and geopolitics of the eternally white continent-Antractica. The Garhwal University has awarded a Doctoral Degree to the author for his study. The author has made all possible efforts to justify the aim by mentioning the historical backgound of its discovery and etailed information of all the "Indian Scientific Expeditions" which have been to Antractica so far. The geology, development of resources and geoplitics of Antarctica have been discussed in depth. The book will prove very useful to students and scholars of Historical Geography and Political Geography, particularly from the universities, and to readers interested in the study of Antractica and its Economic resources.
